ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP A. The Mechanic is responsible to his immediate Supervisor or Lead Mechanic 2. QUALIFICATIONS A. Must have Valid A& P License and or FCC License 3. RESPONSIBILITIES A. Mechanics will be responsible for the completion of paperwork and reports in connection with their normal assigned duties. B. Each Mechanic is responsible for keeping up to date with manual changes, policy changes and rules concerning general conduct. C. Each Mechanic is obligated to conduct himself in accordance with the rules and regulations covered under Federal Aviation Administration regulations. D. Be responsible for their assigned work area, shop or ramp, to ensure that it is kept clean and free of hazards. E. Keep their tools and support equipment in a safe and operational condition at all times and, when using calibrated equipment, ensure the calibration due time has not expired. F. Wear eye and ear protection as necessary to safeguard sight and hearing while on the flight line during run-ups or when operating machinery and power tools. G. Submit in writing any suggested change in operational procedures that will enhance safe, cost effective aircraft maintenance. |
