Aircraft A&P Mechanic

WANTED: A&P Mechanic for a full time permanent employment performing maintenance on de Havilland DHC-3T turbine otters, DHC-2 Beaver’s, and C185 Cessna single engine aircraft. Aircraft A&P Technician

1. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
A. The Mechanic is responsible to his immediate Supervisor or Lead Mechanic

2. QUALIFICATIONS
A. Must have Valid A& P License and or FCC License

3. RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Mechanics will be responsible for the completion of paperwork and reports in connection with their normal assigned duties.

B. Each Mechanic is responsible for keeping up to date with manual changes, policy changes and rules concerning general conduct.

C. Each Mechanic is obligated to conduct himself in accordance with the rules and regulations covered under Federal Aviation Administration regulations.

D. Be responsible for their assigned work area, shop or ramp, to ensure that it is kept clean and free of hazards.

E. Keep their tools and support equipment in a safe and operational condition at all times and, when using calibrated equipment,
ensure the calibration due time has not expired.

F. Wear eye and ear protection as necessary to safeguard sight and hearing while on the flight line during run-ups or when
operating machinery and power tools.

G. Submit in writing any suggested change in operational procedures that will enhance safe, cost effective aircraft maintenance.

Summary:
AESA, a degree granting accredited technical school, is seeking full and part time Admissions Representatives near military installations throughout the world to promote our programs. Duties include enrolling Military and private sector students into certificate and degree programs while providing customer service and promoting a high degree of quality and ethics. Work from home and set your own hours. You must have good communication, computer skills, a cellular phone and internet access. Candidates should be motivated and have a strong desire to reach their earning potential. Military experience a big plus. Faculty

If you are a dynamic instructor who loves to teach and travel, we want to hear from you! AESA is currently accepting resumes for faculty positions teaching our Computer (Computer Service, Networking, and MCSE), Telecommunications, Fiber Optics, Electronics, and Aviation Maintenance programs.

Must have:
  • an Associates Degree or higher
  • minimum 1 year of field experience
  • minimum 2 years of teaching experience, and required and/or appropriate licenses/certifications
  • minimum 2 weeks travel per month
Instructor Qualifications

We currently require all of our instructors to possess the following:
  • a minimum of a license in the area they teach
  • at least 3 years experience in their respective field
  • two years of teaching experience
  • a State of California BPPVE Certificate of Authorization for Service
  • a minimum two-year college degree from an accredited US institution, or equivalent
Instructors who teach General Education courses in the AAS degree programs must also hold a Bachelor's Degree and fifteen (15) semester hours or twenty three (23) quarter hours in the teaching discipline. At this time we do not offer any General Education courses.
